“One in four female students will not graduate with a regular high school diploma.” according to a recent study by the National Women’s Law Center.  One of the reasons for dropping out is the lack of future educational goals.

The young ladies will hear about the value of “Perseverance” from The Honorable Maureen Duffy-Lewis, Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, and “One Great Goal” from author Ursula Mentjes.  They will also hear the dream stories directly from women in various industries.  “Professional women should be the first to give back to the young women in our community,” says Veronica Forest, chair of the Live Your Dream Conference.  “We are giving these ladies a roadmap to the future.  There is no GPS for life, but there are certainly women who have been there before and can help navigate the twists and turns.”
